Claiming expenses going to court
If you’re a witness in the case you may be able to claim for expenses around travel, food, loss of earnings and childcare. The Witness Service and your FLO can help support you in claiming these costs.
Financial support you may be able to access
You may be eligible for support with:
- contributions toward the financial costs of attending a trial
- help with immediate needs, such as accessing financial assistance
- information about the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme
